Does anyone have any pictures of both of these tripods side by side? I am in the market for a smaller tripod and am not able to look at these in person. I have been reading the 635 has smaller diameter lower extensions which I have mixed feelings on considering how strong carbon arrows can be. The 624 seems to be tried and true but discontinued although still available through SLIK and supporting rokslide vendors. Can someone message me if they have the ability to set these two up and maybe answer a couple of questions. Thanks.

Looks like I had one after all. You can also checkout our blog. I did a write-up after slick discontinued the 624. Fortunately we were able to get slick to build the 624 just for us and our hunting customers. It's hands down my favorite tripod.

I would appreciate that. I am also trying to figure out if the specs on SLIK website for max height are with the center post extended? They are saying the 635 is taller but still collapses to almost the same height?

Thank you! That is exactly the kind of picture/ comparison I was looking for. It looks like the 635 does indeed go a little taller when fully extended. Thanks for clarifying.

Be careful to not get caught up in specs. We found the 635 lost some stability when fully extended, as the last leg sections are very slim. There is a reason why we begged Slik to bring back the 624 again.

We thoroughly test all of our gear, and only sell what we recommend to hunters.

When do you guys think you’ll have the 624 back instock?
