I leave for my Colorado Mule Deer hunt in two weeks, so getting excited I naturally checked the weather for where we are going to be hunting. It said a low of 38 for this coming Friday night. What I am concerned about is I currently have a North Face Baetis Sleeping bag, 600 down, rated for 15 F. It has been a great summer bag, but I just wonder about how comfortable it will be for a mid September High Country Colorado Deer hunt. Any input is greatly appreciated!

I think you will be fine. If it gets too cold, keep the socks, bottoms and a top on; your pad will make a big difference as well.

I agree with others, toss it in a bevy and you'll be fine...especially if your in a floored tent.

You will be fine. I use my 20 degree bag well into October without problems. If you do get cold, one thing that really helps is wearing a beanie at night.
