Alps Commander Bag

Hey guys sorry for the second post…

still trying to decide on my pack for September. I just asked about a couple other packs but was also curious if anyone has ever modified the Alps Commander Bag to carry meat and the bag itself (Not the X bag).

I got it gifted to me brand new but this bag has pins that pin it to the frame, not straps. Curious if anyone has ever made it work so I don’t have to make an extra trip for the bag itself after hauling meat. How it sits you have to detach the bag completely to use the meat hauler.

I don't have the bag, but I have the frame. I don't hunt with it, but keep it in the truck and will use it (the frame) for hauling meat if its less than a mile or so. Its so quick and simple to strap meat to it. I hate the pins, btw.

Nope, I just threw the meat in the bag and made trips. You could probably do something with paracord
