Has anyone found Skre Summit pattern to be too shiny?

My buddy ordered up a custom bundle for this spring bear trip in North Idaho. Hardscrabble jacket and pants, Mad trapper hoody, Wasatch top, and early season cap.

That combo kept him going even though a couple days of rain in the back country.

Weather was to warm to pull out the ptarmigan for anything other than catching some zzz's on the 13 hour road trip.

We covered a bunch of country but in the end all we got was a bunch of laughs and plenty of exercise.

Snow made access tricky in spots even on foot.

Typical Idaho weather sunny and short sleeve weather one minute and rain/sleet mix the next. My SKRE gear never left me wanting anything else.

I packed most of the options and tried a bunch of different clothing combos though the trip. Love the variety spring time offers.

I'm wanting to order the soft shell jacket vest and pants. I am 6'5 285. I normally wear 2xl in tops and 38x36 in bottoms. Do I need to order the 4xl jacket? I can wear some kuiu 3xl but not all of them.

I would go with the 4XL. We are about the same size and that is what I go with. I like the little bit of extra room to wear a layer or two underneath to keep myself wicking sweat.

I'd also recommend the 4X SKRE has a sizing return policy if you try it and it doesn't fit to your liking.

Had a unscheduled business meeting in Missouri so I decided to check my tree stands and clean up the shooting the lanes. Turns out I couldn't get to any of them due to flooding.

My hunting partner brought his boat and we launched it with the tractor in the flooded corn field.

I needed up shooting most of the species of carp and all the species of gar. Sadly they won't get any crops in this year what a crazy weather year.

Its been pretty brutal here in the midwest. My heat does break for all of these farmers who were not able to get their crops in due to the rain.

I would assume everything is speculation until we see it. That would be pretty great if they did though. That would be the one thing that I would like to see them release in the future.

I wore the Kaibab, Kanati hoody, and Unita pants. I've been converted to the benefits of mernio wool can't wait to try the new spun series when SKRE releases it.

I've only worn these a short time around the house but I did swap back and forth a few times with the early season pants. I came to the conclusion that they do seem to have the exact same fit as the Uinta's only stop at the knee.

The same two way stretch 100% polyester Mtn-Lite micro air matrix fabric is super comfortable and super quiet. I loved the fit and features of the Uinta's last season and really look forward to wearing the Alpine shorts in those super hot scouting sessions in July.

Does the waste on all the pants still have that stretch. I had the first gen of the hardscrabble pants and the pants would get pushed down by my pack as the waist would just stretch. I even had the waist taken in to make it tighter but it still would just stretch.
