Well lots of wind and rain exactly opposite of what you want on a turkey hunt.

After a day of being covered in mud from the knee down finally broke the gaiters out. Mud just kept building up until each boot weighted an extra couple pounds great work out for sure. Still all the sticky slimy desert mud made getting from spot to spot an adventure just trying to keep from falling down. I took some more pictures this is the most moisture I've ever seen out here and the desert really came to life.

Any other new products coming this year? Solid colors? More gloves?

I've heard some rumors about a early season glove coming but haven't seen anything yet. I reached out to SKRE and was lead to believe in the next couple weeks they should be releasing some more information on new products. I'll link up anything I learn or see anywhere out there.

I did receive a new pair of the Uinta pants. These were one of my favorite pieces last season since I do a lot of early/warm season hunting. New for 2019 SKRE has updated the Uinta pants for increased durability. They are still 100% polyester with micro grid for breathability. The new Uinta have a slightly different fabric feel more slick feeling while the prior generation had more of a brushed feel. If that makes any sense. When I first got them out of the package they had slightly more noise or more accurately a slight swoosh to the fabric. After wearing a few times and washing them I no longer notice it. I will keep everyone posted as to the durability as I'm planning to wear them on my up coming Idaho bear hunt. Here's some photo comparisons

Solid colors would be sweet! I’d definitely be buying some hardscrabble stuff in a solid color. A lighter weight glove would be nice too. I like the original gloves but they are overkill for early season.

One of my favorite places to hunt. Doesn't look like turkeys would live here but it seems to hold a few. They always seem one step ahead of me.

SKRE Kanati hoody, soft but durable is how I would describe it. Wore under the hardscrabble vest last fall almost every day and have been using a it again daily as a outer layer in this cooler spring weather Utah is experiencing right now.

Who else has the Kanati and what's your thoughts on it?

I have one but I bought it late in the season last year and have not had a chance to wear it yet. I am worried that it might be a little too tight now since I am still holding onto all my winter weight after my shoulder surgery in Feb. Wearing it around the house it was a pretty warm piece.

Bought one a little over a year ago and love it! Super comfortable and has no itch at all. I wear mine with the hardscrabble vest for spring turkey and fall deer. Good for me in temps from 35-70.
