Uinta pants are going to be pretty amazing when the temps really heat up. I ordered 38r same has the hardscrabbles. These uinta have all the great features of the hardscrabbles including mesh pocket vents and hip vents. Coated waist band and dual zippered fly pulls.

also the fabric is 100% polyester and looks similar to ripstop nylon gridding but if you hold it up and look you can see light coming through the vertical lines of the grid pattern

I've never worn anything that breaths this well. There was a very slight swish to the material but I also didn't wash them before wearing just threw them in the bag. I'll be sure to update with more hot weather opportunities coming up.

I've worn my wasatch shirt for 5 or 6 outings without washing. That's pretty dang impressive for a 95% polyester top. I like to believe my sweat isn't very stinky but somehow talked my wife into a sniff test. She also agreed it was pretty low smell for the amount of sweat it has seen. The other 5% of the wasatch is spandex which I really believe helps keep it's shape. This maybe my favorite piece of SKRE so far.

I believe the wasatch was designed to act as a mid layer that dries pretty quick. I've been using it without anything under it. The interior has a soft slight fuzzy feel to it, very comfortable against the skin. The collar has a soft strip over the seam I assume to ensure the collar doesn't chaff your neck. Throwing a heavy pack on and off I think is what has pulled some of the thread in the picture.

left sleeve pocket about the only thing I hate on this shirt. Why a pocket there? Any how I don't see myself ever using it and the zipper pull does make a slight noise. Think I'll just cut the pull off if it bothers me to much.

I have only used the ptarmigan one or two times just thrown on after hiking up to glass before sunrise. This is my first down puffy my others are synthetic. I can appreciate the compressibility and wieght savings of this puffy. 13.6 oz for the 2xl including stuff sack

I also know somethings are nit picky but might be a important detail to someone. Still not a ton of reviews on SKRE out there. If there are any questions post them up here. If you have SKRE gear post up a review with your thoughts here. Still plenty of pieces I'd like to try but momma cut my budget off. I'd really like to see a few pictures of the hardscrabble hat if anyone will fo a quick review

I wore the unitas pants for the first day of turkey season yesterday. I was meh on them around the house but the more I wore them the better I liked them. Light, quiet, and dried fast. It rained most of the day and I was fine with my chugach on top and these on the bottom. The only complaint being that they are a little baggy for me in the calf and the hip pockets are tight with anything in them. I wore the alpine shirt under the raingear and it is a comfortable and slick feeling fabric. I've worn it around town a couple times as it is just a nice feeling ss shirt.

Is the outside fabric on this down jacket ultralite or would it be more on the durable side of the scale?

Matt I would say it's a more durable fabric than ultralight. Of course I wouldn't bust brush in it but I wouldn't worry about using it as a shell and tearing it up any more than any other puffy I've owned.

Last Sunday I ordered the Rocky Mountain bundle and it arrived on Thursday. I was a bit nervous ordering online due to not being able to try each item on to see how it fits. I ordered my actual sizes and was so pleased that they ran true to size. Overall I couldn't more happier with my decision to go with Skre. I am very impressed with the quality, fit, and price. I won't hesitate to order from them again!

I'm also curious about the deadfall gloves. I've been looking for a lightweight glove that can shed water too. I'll post up a couple picks of how their camo looks in eastern mountains for those who are interested. I'm actually a little shocked how good it looks in hardwoods.

Basin Beanie
Weights in @ 1.7 oz
One size fits all
100% polyester
For reference my head is 7 1/4 and it's deep enough to cover all the way over my whole ear.

Material seems very similar to the wasatch top. It's doubled over the bottom 3" for extra protection for your ears.

It was a slightly snug fit but stretched into a great fitting beanie.

Hard to see but it's slightly deeper and wider than typical hunting beanie. The comparison beanie doesn't cover the bottom of my ear lobes and has tighter almost uncomfortable fit for me.

I hoped the basin beanie would be same material as the hardscrabbles similar to the kuiu guide beanie but it isn't. It's heavier than the Sitka traverse and slightly less than the Celsius beanie. I'm actually looking forward to testing this beanie. The wasatch shirt breaths so well I think maybe it'll be able to see use as a stalker beanie in warmer weather and also a insulation piece for colder weather. I will be hanging onto my guide beanie for wear in snow or rain

Well I took my daughter out after turkeys Saturday. It was 90* but wind was 20mph but it was still to hot. I wore the alpine shirt and unita pants. I love these lite pants incredibly durable for the light wieght fabric and again the hip zips are amazing. I sweat alot in the alpine shirt I'm not sure why(it was incredibly hot and I was carry a heavy pack). Looking and feeling the alpine fabric you would think it breaths great, but that's not been my experience. I'll continue to try it out.

Stopped off this morning before work for one last try for Utah turkey. Took the ol' model 97 out. No luck for me. Turkeys have schooled me good this year
