Anybody have any experience with this jacket?? Can't find any reviews online except for the couple on the Sitka website. Thanks

I bought one, never used it but I ended up selling it and opting for a first lite cirrius. not sure they are comparable in terms of warmth but the sitka fabric was very very thin, i wanted something i could wear as a semi outer layer. the FL has a dir coating and cuts the wind a bit more for only a 3oz or less weight penalty. just my 2 cents. the sitka does pack down a tad bit smaller

Love my sitka kelvin ultra down hoody. Packs down well, warm - while just walking you want it mostly unzipped at 0 F, light, comfortable, I can't say enough good things about this jacket. The only bad thing is that when it gets really cold - I have only noticed it in sub-zero weather, the outer fabric can stiffen up and be loud, so it isn't very good for bow hunting or still hunting in really cold weather. However, most of us don't hunt in those temps regularly.

Since it was mentioned, this is exactly my experience with the cirrus too.

I'm comparing the Sitka Ultralite and the Sitka Lite Hoody...anyone have experience with both? Puffy jackets without hoods make ZERO sense to me...but if it's just as warm and 6 ounces lighter, I'd pull the trigger.

They don't make the down ultra light in a hooded version. Are you talking about the kelvin lite?

I did a "puffy" review some time ago and this one came out on top. Very good warmth to weight ratio. Still my "go to" puffy.

I love mine. I compress it down and put it into a pull out bag. It stays in my pack until I need it. I'm generally in a Jetstream jacket and either Timberline or 90% pants with varying levels of base layers as needed. I haven't needed it much, but when I do, I'm glad I have it and that it is so small when compressed.

These are available at Stillwater Flyshop online for 144 buckaroos (ultralight). I grabbed one earlier today!
