Sitka Ambient 100 vs 200

I'm looking at getting something from the Sitka Ambient collection to wear as my active insulation layer.
I currently have the Sitka Core LW Hoody, the Sitka HW Hoody and my puffy (depending on the forecast) is either the Sitka Kelvin Aerolite (synthetic) or a SG Grumman (Down). Piece will be used on a late Sept archery elk hunt this fall.

1. Given the dates of my hunt, do I even need the Ambient?

2. Because I currently have the HW Hoody, is the Ambient a better replacement for that piece?

3. If I was to get an Ambient piece, I see the Ambient now comes in 100 and 200 weight insulation levels (where the original Ambient jacket was a 150 and the original Ambient Hoody was 100). If worn primarily for hikes in cool weather, which weight should I get?

I have the almost identical set up. I use the Sitka core lightweight hoodie, over the top of that is the Sitka ambient 100, and then my third piece is the kuiu super down pro. And then I have the Sitka dewpoint.

After reading about the Outdoor Vitals option that is coming out this fall, I might wait for that option, unless the Sitka ones go on crazy sale sometime this summer.

Yeah, I'm excited to give that a try also. Really curious how it ends up falling in between my Ambient UL 60 and the Ambient 100. Sounds like it will be a home run though with the option to toss the Ambient 100 vest on over it on colder weather hunts... I may end up dumping the 100 jacket all together.
