I almost bought the Scythe back in December. But, rightly or wrongly, I decided the reports of failures on 6.5 PRC suggested to me a chopped 30-06 was at risk. I went with a Banish Backcountry instead, which I'm sure is uncool and doesn't pass some Rokslide standard. That can just came in yesterday, so I haven't got to shoot it yet.
I'm still interested in how the Scythe is fairing overall and on the 30-06 in particular as I think it's about the perfect hunting can on paper. The ATF approved me in 3 business days, which makes me think I will likely buy another hunting-focused can at some point since the process has gotten A LOT shorter than it was seveal years ago.
