Has anyone had to use the Sig warranty for electro optics like the Kilo rangefinder? My kilo 850 is showing the range but the display is adding extra lines so the 1’s look like C’s backwards and it’s the top and bottom lines on all digits making ranging very unusable. I am hoping to get it in the mail soon so I can hopefully have it back before late season stats.

I sent a 1250 back because I didn’t think it was ranging as far as a advertised. They received it, tested it and called me to inform me of what they found. It was with in their specs for function, but they sent me a new one anyway because there was a small flaw internally on one of the lenses. I had noticed it, but was very minor so I paid no attention to it. Based on my one experience, I’d say they have very good customer service.

They have been pretty quick with fixing my red dots, but don’t seem particularly concerned about why they’ve kept failing.

Wouldn’t hurt to ask if they’ll send you a loaner, but I tend to doubt it.

Thanks guys, I’m hoping to get it in the mail this weekend, luckily I have my old Nikon aculon for a back up so I have that if needed.

I sent my Kilo 2000 in when it quit ranging. It seems like some of the 2000s had issues and they discontinued them. Sig sent me a brand new 2200 to replace it. I am pretty happy with their warranty.

Good to hear. I've used a Leupold RX750 for several years, but picked up a Sig Kilo 1200 this past winter during an online sale as a backup. So far it seems to be working well......but one never knows.

Just want to keep this updated, I didn’t see anything online to send in for warranty besides email so I called Monday and talked to customer service. They where very nice when I talked to the rep and they sent me a fedex prepaid packing slip via email and I got it in the mail on the way home Tuesday. Tracking shows it was delivered Wednesday and when I talked to the rep he said turn around is 3-5 days usually but the generic email says 4-6 weeks. I will update again once I hear from back from sig or when I get a rangefinder back whichever comes first.

I had the same issue with mine. Sent it in and had a replacement within two weeks.

Just got the range finder back yesterday and they said they couldn’t find a problem with it. I know when the battery was dead was when I noticed the problem opening day of deer in Wa. I replaced the battery and 2 weeks later when I was in Idaho for elk I had the same problem. I should have taken a picture of what the reticle was doing.

Anyway I have it back with a new battery and it is working now but I don’t trust it so I keep ranging things in the back yard. I hope it does it again before late season deer starts and I’ll make sure to snap some pictures so I can send them in with the warranty this time.

I ended up calling sig for a broken turret on my whiskey 5 5-25x52 the rep was super helpful and sent me a prepaid shipping label. I asked how long he thought it would take to fix the scope and he told me they would just mail me a new one. from the point I maid the call until i received new scope was 15 days. I'd heard some pretty negative things about their CS in the past but my stand alone experience went very smoothly.
