Looking forward to trying these in our 260 and 6.5x55. Says it's designed for the 6.5 PRC but should do fine at lower speeds. Based on how easy it was to get the 175 gr TGK to shoot out of my 6.8 Western I'm excited to try these and would expect the same.

These should be a good fit for the 26 Nosler as well. I like to shoot 156 Bergers out of mine but I’m sure these will do just as well

In your big 26 you should be able to get 3200-3300 fps with that bullet. That's got to shoot incredibly flat. In my wife's 6.5x55 and my 260 (both LH Tikkas) should be able to get 2700 fps at least.

Maybe I missed something but other than if you rifle doesn’t shoot 147 eldm, 143 ELs or Berger 140 VLD, not sure why one would go for this TMK? BC is signify lower than the 146 which has proved to be a good hunting bullet on rokslide

I prefer Sierra over the options you mention even though those will work. They should be a bit tougher so hopefully not as destructive at closer ranges from what I've seen on the 260/6.5 Creedmoor thread. They still should do well farther than I'll ever shoot. I's also nice to have options.

Anybody have any new info to add on these bullets? Looking to work up a load with these for my 6.5 PRC. Looking for a bullet that will be a little tougher for some closer/higher velocity impacts but still work well at distance (less than 450yds).

I’ve used the 130 gr TGK in my 6.5x55 for the last 3 years.. It is superbly accurate (1/2MOA) and deadly. I’ve taken 7 deer now between 4-500 yds. Nothing has gone more than about 10 yards after kill.
I’ve just picked up some 140s for my 6.5 PRC but i haven’t got the time to load and test yet.

140 TGK out of 6.5 PRC 57gr H1000 @ 2860, impact velocity roughly 2650 (130 yards) on a mule deer.

165 TGK out of 284 Win, impact velocities 2620-2350 (100, 300 yards) on a bull elk, similar wounds and exit sizes. That is exit side with shoulder removed, lower exit was from a downward angle.

Anybody have any hands-on experience with the 145’s yet? Finally found some in stock so they are on the way. Will be trying them in 260AI, 6.5PRC and 6.5RPM

I have some for my 6.5 PRC but haven't found time to do some loads and test them.

I am a Gamechanger fan. I shoot the 130 grainers in my 6.5x55. They are 1/2 MOA accurate and have scored whitetail kills from 35 yds to 420. Nothing has gone more than 25 yds from impact. All of them have given 2 holes (in and out) and none of them have the bullets "exploded" internally.

Yeah I’ve killed muleys, bears and elk with the 130’s from a 260, one of my favorites
