Sierra 107 TMK Load Data

2.91

I kept everything the same only dropped charge weight.

41.5 to 40.5 lost me about 60ish fps

But at my elevation yesterday still makes it to 750 yards before dipping below 1800 fps
Thanks.

Looks like we are running the same basic load. The bullet will carry enough velocity to kill much further than I normally shoot at game.

I have a 243 Tikka and it’s not a tack driver out of the box but is starting to come around. Started with 70gr NBTs to do scope sight in then switched to 107s. With 107s I used 41.0gr of H4350 at 2.830” and it’s okay. Went to 2.900” and it tightened up a bit and vertical was consistent. Was getting ejector marks on new Starline brass so will drop to 40.5gr and see what happens. Hopefully Wednesday the wind will be consistent and under 10mph.

That puts you right where I ended up. (2.91 and 40.5 gr new starline brass)

Thats the sweet spot for my gun.

I wouldn’t shoot that without some safety glasses.
Bolt lift was a bit heavy with ambient in the high 60’s. Minor primer flattening and slight bit of extrusion around the firing pin. No swipe. I have another batch loaded at 31gr even. Just for a little more wiggle room when dealing with rain and such. You need to live a little more. This is the same load I was running for the 108 eldm. That’s only .3gr above Hornady’s published data. I generally shoot with safety glasses.
You would hate my 87gr vmax load.
