It’s only 3 shots, but it was at 1100 yards with a 223

20 shot group @100 yds with .308 Win. I dint count the 2 to the right because I made a scope adjustment. Waited about 5-10 minutes between each group. This was my final hunting load. 150 gr Nosler Accubond.

I got a Tikka .223 from Cabelas in their Roughtech D-18 version and it’s insanely accurate. With Hornady 73 grain match it did 12 shots into 0.69 MOA. Also shot an 8 round group with the cheap Hornady 55 gr SP bulk ammo into 0.9 MOA.

Didn’t suck. 10 rounds. Orange dot is 1”. Think it was around 7 SD for that group too. 2690ish avg MV.

What’s your barrel length?

I took my original NRL rifle back out last weekend and it’s still hammering away after 3k+ rounds down the barrel. Shot 8 into just over .5”

Love to hear that. It is the 24" model, carbon steel rather than stainless. Load was a little different than yours - Lapua LRP, 210m, and probably a little longer COAL but the token 41.5 H4350 charge.

I paid $170 for this tube as a takeoff. With that kind of barrel life and the observed precision - it's one hell of a deal!

I got a good deal on Hornady 75 gr BTHP so I bought 1200 to pair with components I have on hand. These will be for practice. I loaded up 30 using:
24, 24.3 and 24.5 of LVR
CCI 400
Winchester brass with 4-5 firings
COAL 2.295
MV average was 2727, 2775, 2820 respectively
Shooting seated behind a plastic folding table which was ok, not stellar.
I’m new to reloading and open to any input.
All the little tears in the paper were from the granite backstop about 1 yard behind the target.

Had some similar looking groups where my POI started moving ~ 24.5 and I went up to 25.5-26gr of lever and it really tightened up there. Was out of an ar at mag length, but everything else was the same. Been my go to ever sense

last ten shots of 40. decent suppressor mirage. tikka 6.5CM CTR 20", sig can on the end. 131 gr sellier & bellot soft points. just breakin the gun in. put my right handed T3 tactical on consignment after verifying this CTR shoots just as well.... sad to see the 308 go, but the 6.5 is left handed. i can't love two girls at the same time, too poor, i can only feed one...10 for 10 on various sized steel at 300 with windy snowy conditions. almost makes me feel like i know how to shoot.

Every time I open my reloading cabinet I see my prepped 6.5cm brass and unopened 130tmk box staring at me.
I think this will finally motivate me to load it up

I was reading through this thread and remembered I’d shot something similar last year . So I dug through my old target cardboard and found this .
Now this target was 10 shots , but I broke position between each shot by standing up and picking up the rifle . ( shot from bipod and rear bag )
I was more of an exercise in training to reset myself exactly the same each time .
It was shot at 100m not 100yrds and moa at 100m is about 29mm so Im under that .
Rifle is a Tikka T3 6x45 ( 6mm223 ) with an IBI barrel shooting Sierra 85gr hpbt at 2850fps .
It’s the most accurate rifle I own .

Here is another target I found .
This is my T3x 6.5CM
This was 12 shots ( broken up into 4 x 3 shot groups )
Again at 100m so this is hovering right at 1 moa .

PS - Both targets were shot in absolutely perfect conditions, so no excuses for environmentals etc .
