Show us your catch? FLY FISHING Thread

Thanks. A buddy and I spent 16 days down there chasing Sailfish around with 13 wt. rods. We had one day where we weren't able to book a boat, so we borrowed a 4 wheeler from the lodge and took off down the beach.

South island New Zealand brown from 2011. My biggest fish on a fly to date at 27".

The bonefish is from Belize in 2013. Not the biggest fish, but still an awesome adventure.

Quick question on photos, how do you get the photos to load in the message body vs. thumnails? Great thread by the way!

Looks like Troutbum did it through Tapatalk, but I usually do it through an external photo service like photobucket. I actually use Google Photos, but getting it to work properly is tricky because of the permissions you must first share the photo, then open the shared link and then use the image URL from there.

Nice!

This is going better than I had hoped. There are so great fish posted already.
Here is an old one. Brookie from little creek outside Yosemite.

That Permit is one hell of a trophy right there Riplip. Both trophies for sure, but especially the permit.

Thanks brother, its definitely an addiction. You have some incredible pic as well! Fished Alaska twice, cant wait to get back up there, hopefully to take my 12 year old son.

This is from August. 85 lbs on true fly method (no weight, no scent, no down rigger, no bait, not trolled.)
