Maybe the scope isn't new, those covers are the new SHOT Show product. Nobody wants to make a reliable scope so Uncle Mike's just started making a big padded scope cover out of pool noodles.

Well, there are more than one scope brand/model. As well, I will not say anything beyond as I was asked not to yet.
