Looking for some help in deciding on a new tripod and think I have it narrowed down between the Aziak Frontcountry and new 2026 Tricer AD. I am just looking for the tripod, already have the head I am going to use.
Has anyone played with both of these? They are real similar so wondering pros and cons of each if any.
Anyone have any for sale they are wanting to give up?
Thanks!

I have the Tricer BC and was very skeptical at first especially with some more than likely exaggerated claims by the head guy over at Tricer.

I wish I could speak on the Aziak but other than taking a look at one in a local Scheels or at the hunt expo I don’t know much.

I can say with Tricer that I found I prefer the inverted legs for the ease of use. As a shorter guy with proportional arms I’ve come to enjoy my locking mechanism being at the top of the Tripod. It makes adjustments quicker for me.

The AD is also taller but I’ve never been a big fan of standing to glass but I’d imagine the upper twist locks would be my selling point at this time.

The locks are also left hand threaded so it may take time to get used to.

I’ve not handled the tricer, if they had the tri-tek center column when I got my aziak it would have been a more difficult decision. I do use the tricer bipod. Build quality on both are great. I have exchanged a few emails with Aziak and always got responses from Rydell which is pretty cool imo.

I've been trying to find the Aziak locally to see in person but haven't been able to. Doesn't look like Scheels stock any in Colorado. Do you know other dealers that may sell?
Id email Aziak and see if they have any dealers in your area. I have a local archery shop near me in southern Idaho that carries them.

Really like my Front Country! Beats my old stuff without a fight. And like the Backcountry equally well, just different applications. Never tried a Tricer and am not looking for tripods anymore.
