I thought the same. Allegedly they posted a video of them machining/creating the action though

Interesting. At least with the 7PRC, the federal ELDX already beats out Hornady. Will be interesting to see what velocities they achieve with the new ammo.

Can you elaborate on this claim? The muzzle velocities on both show 3000FPS

There’s a thread here on Rokslide where people have been producing true velocities from the Hornady eldx and a few folks compared the Federal and they seemed to be consistently 100fps faster.
