I have 5 rifles. I now have RS 1.2 on all 5. I have sold 2 NXS 2.5-10 and 2 VX5 HD's ... band-aid ripped ... or more aptly "kool aid fully consumed"

I am looking at Rental Cars for the June 9 class, and they are like $1000+ ... am I missing something?

Might be a touch late replying here, but i live in Livingston (between Bozeman and Big Timber) and will be attending the June 9 class. I wouldn’t mind runnin over to the airport and squeezin a few fellers and there gear into my truck. Just an offer, but it’s open to any one else who’s attending the June 9 class and who’s flying into Bozeman.

Do they charge you when gate checks a bag?

My Kuiu pack and a 2100 bag is right at the max of their carry on dimensions so I’d imagine a 5000 is over?

On delta, I’ve never been charged for a gate checked bag….i don’t think ever. And I do this about 3-4/month. I’m pretty sure they are numb to idea of the 1 carry on and 1 personal and planes just not having room when everyone does this. If you are flying delta, you won’t be charged to gate check your bag, hell on some flights you can gate check and pre board if you want.

Waters rifleman mags work very well. They are expensive however.

@Formidilosus Thanks for the recommendation. I am looking to stock up on magazines for S2H U. Do you know if this .223 magazine work with a Tikka T3x chambered in 6 ARC? Also, do you think a Tikka T3x M magazine would work with 6 ARC?

I'm still all sorts of messed up! Missed my alarm yesterday morning too. Need to up my recovery game. Wonder if Chewy can even move?

i wanted to wait a couple of days to get settled in at home before i wrote my review of the course. I'll start by talking about @Formidilosus, he is a small weak pale man with jew fro & a Richard Simmons accent (trying to paint a picture) think Bob Ross but way more feminine. After dinner he would give us an hour & half lecture about how 80s dance movies are going to make a come back, he even tried to show off his moves a couple of times, it was usually it was to the Top Gun song Danger Zone. Also note that you should never try and get in a foot race with him, he will trip you into a cactus . Ok all joking aside the course was bad ass. Form is the real deal, PNWGATOR is a hell of a good guy. Everyone was night & day a better rifleman after the course was complete. Come in to the course with an open mind, you don't know shit & you suck. Your binos are probably focused wrong, ask for help. You walk quite a bit & you'll burn some calories (hunting burpees ) but you'll gain weight. the food is fantastic

That's tough call. A lot of ugly going on. But a great experience meeting a fun group of guys. And now to decide what equipment and guns to order first. My stuff all sucks. (from what I was shown)
