Shoot2Hunt University

I'm somehow better at offhand than seated unsupported. I definitely need to get back to practicing that instead of just shooting rocks/long range stuff.

Anything like that with feet flat on the ground seated or kneeling is wobble city for me.

For seated I like criss cross applesauce as low as I can go with the knees and torso.
Criss cross applesauce is how I learned with a red ryder back in cub scouts and it's the most effective position I've tried but I suck at seated unsupported shooting. Even back then I was better off hand than seated probably from the numerous hours and thousands of BBs I shot running around my grandparents property back then.

For unsupported positions- go to an Appleseed shoot.
Kind of off topic but is there something similar you would recommend for pistol shooting? My fiancee has recently gotten interested in shooting pistols and I could definitely use some practice.

There isn’t. Pistols you need a legit quality class.

Is there a good way to vet a quality class?
Instructors who are Rangemaster certified are going to be good.

Lots of good instructors these days:
Lee Weems
Justin Dyal
John Hearne
Erick Gelhaus
Dave Spaulding
Bryan Eastridge
Darryl Bolke
Wayne Dobbs
