SG Chilkoot vs Peax Solace

Id say get western mountaineering or feathered friends.
What about the hyperdry dwr treated down on the SG bags? Thats one thing that makes me want to get a SG bag vs untreated down. The ability to use the bag to potentially dry myself or in damper climates without compromising all the loft. How does an untreated WM or FF bag handle this?

Watch Argali's down test video.

Currently deciding between the chikoot 15 vs 0. I have one late Oct. Hunt in CO that the 0 would worke well for but the 15 seems more practical for most hunts

Its much easier to unzip a sleeping bag and use it quilt style if you are hot than try to get more insulation out of a lighter bag when you need it...
Get the 0 degree bag.
I have owned a 0 degree Chillikote bag for... 5 or 6 years now and love it! I also have a 20 degree quilt. If I have any question about low temps I grab the SG bag and leave the quilt at home.

This is what I do as well. I have a Big Agnes 15 degree and the 9 degree SG. I always grab the SG in late fall/winter hunts. Just unzip it to vent if needed.
