What about the hyperdry dwr treated down on the SG bags? Thats one thing that makes me want to get a SG bag vs untreated down. The ability to use the bag to potentially dry myself or in damper climates without compromising all the loft. How does an untreated WM or FF bag handle this?Id say get western mountaineering or feathered friends.

Currently deciding between the chikoot 15 vs 0. I have one late Oct. Hunt in CO that the 0 would worke well for but the 15 seems more practical for most hunts
Yeah sort of leaning that way right now.The 15 would be fine and more versatile.
Its much easier to unzip a sleeping bag and use it quilt style if you are hot than try to get more insulation out of a lighter bag when you need it...Currently deciding between the chikoot 15 vs 0. This is what I do as well. I have a Big Agnes 15 degree and the 9 degree SG. I always grab the SG in late fall/winter hunts. Just unzip it to vent if needed. Its much easier to unzip a sleeping bag and use it quilt style if you are hot than try to get more insulation out of a lighter bag when you need it...
Get the 0 degree bag.
I have owned a 0 degree Chillikote bag for... 5 or 6 years now and love it! I also have a 20 degree quilt. If I have any question about low temps I grab the SG bag and leave the quilt at home.
