12x56 vs 15x56 Binoculars - Where's the Sweet Spot?

FWIW, the Vortex Talon HD's LRF binos are also very nice to look through. The 12x50's are a good range for you, the laser is second to none, including Sig and Vectronix, and the warranty is great. HUGE improvement over the Fury 5000's glass. The only downside is these are super heavy at 46.8 oz. Good luck!

I’ve been curious about these and where they might fall in the rankings amongst the other optics mentioned in this thread.

I picked up a set of Zero Tech’s 8x25 pocket binos on a whim last year and was shocked at how useable they are.
How do they compare to Tract Toric?

Has nobody mentioned the ZeroTech 15x56?
I was just reading a review of them on here, and was impressed.

I used the 15x athlon chronus hd before getting my 14x nlp.
They got the job done, but yeah…
The swaris are legit.

And I would get an incredible pair of 8x42 or 10x42 before getting 15’s. Clarity and sharpness absolutely beat magnification in my hierarchy of glass performance.

@nm.otter mentioned the Zero Tech’s earlier in the thread:

But so far I haven’t seen a detailed review or direct comparison to other 15X56’s, besides @Formidilosus brief mention.

I’d really like to see how the 15x56 Zero Tech’s rank among the more expensive options. The only thing keeping me from purchasing and trying them myself is the Interpupillary spec…I’m slightly below the range for this particular model.

The Zerotech's are a fantastic value. I've compared them side by side with Maven C 15's, Maven B 15's, and swaro SLC's.

They are overall more clear than the Maven C's, the Maven B's have similar clarity, but are bit better edge to edge, and the swaro SLC's are better yet in edge to edge clarity, with maybe a bit better clarity in the center. But still not enough difference in the center that I would missing animals, except maybe looking for antler tips on coues deer.
