Sending Back a New/Unused Trijicon for Warranty?

Spent a lot of time reading through the Rokslide scope evals before deciding to purchase my first Trijicon product, a Tenmile.

Took it out of the box to find the three,1.5mm screws setting the zero-stop to be uber-torqued with one of the heads already stripped from the factory.

Reviews of Trijicon warranty seem really good or just plain bad. Did I goof going with Trijicon or just get very unlucky?

Return to retailer or Trijicon? Trijicon has already sent me an RMA #.

If it’s local and you don’t have to pay return shipping, I’d return to retailer and get a new one. Why deal with shipping to triji and waiting on a replacement?

It's not local. Has to be shipped back either way.
