Would 4 guys fit on cots with a stove in Seek's 12 man tipi? Trying to find something for 4 guys without going the wall tent route.

Any other suggestions for 4 guys other than a wall tent?

The opinions you'll get on this vary wildly depending on the size of the guys, their experience camping in tents with others, their expectations for individual space and their personalities.

The straight forward answer is "Yes, there is sufficient space, even plenty of room for 4 guys + stove in a 12 person tent by the standards of having multiple people share 1 tent."

That being said, some guys think that sharing such space makes them feel gay. Other guys have shared true 3 person mountaineering tents with 3 people, slept in the middle and think that 4 people in a 12 person tent is, by comparison, the Taj Mahal. Some guys seem to be of the opinion that they require a tent equal to that of Ghangis Khan's and everyone else in their party should bend to their needs even though they refuse to just buy a tent for themselves. And, there seems to be be no common ground between these spectrums of perspective.

There is always the Seek Outside Courthouse. Or, in some cases, maybe you're just better off going with 3 Redcliffs.

Truck camping or on foot camping? If you don't need to be ultralight, I'd say the 12 man is fine, and throw a Slumberjack Outpost 4 man into the mix. I have one in addition to my wall tent (used to have a 12 man too). I'd use that for all the gear or have 1-2 guys sleep in there. That'll open up the 12 man for the entire group to move around, cook, etc. Cheap too. I like the Slumberjack because it's 90% as good as a SO tipi and it's a small package. But any other practical small shelter would serve the same purpose. Just getting your gear out of the big tipi goes a long way to improve space.

I have a big tipi and wall tent.
Wall tent is THE way to go- it's not even close.

Worth thinking about;
4 men in any tent can be an issue. All it takes is one guy to wreck it for the other 3. Loud snoring, or any number of things can make it not so fun.

Myself and friends prefer to do multiple individual tents.
