Family dog gets in between charging bear and young boy

A family dog pulled off an act of bravery over the weekend, leaping in between a charging bear and a young child.

Video from Jeffrey Tazzara's home security system, licensed by Storyful, shows his young son standing in the driveway outside Tazzara's home as a black bear appears, running toward the child at a high speed.

As the boy backs away, the family's husky mix, Bella, is seen running over from across the yard and chasing the bear away, circling behind the animal and placing itself in between the bear and the boy.

Good Dog!!

Yeah, whether or not the bear was actually after the child is subject for debate, but the actions of the dog aren’t, IMO. Sometimes, as a species, I have serious doubts as to whether or not we truly deserve them what they give us. I believe God gave man the dog and said, “ Look. This is what true, unadulterated love and devotion looks like. “

My neighbor's dog apparently jumped a 6ft fence to run off a bear last week.

It's a poodle looking dog named Toby that sometimes has hair ties in to keep hair out if his eyes, weighs maybe 30 lbs but should be 25, and is as friendly as can be when he's out on a walk.

Dogs are great.
