I have a cancellation from one of my long time regular hunters. He has just been diagnosed with a bad health issue so cannot make the hunt. I refunded his payment in full yesterday when I got his call. I'm very sorry about this. He is a super guy who spoils his setter to no end. I have listed the vacancy below.

Good luck filling. Funny I am a SD native, but have never pheasant hunted in earnest. Have gone out and walked with groups before, but that's it. Dad used to be avid about it as a kid and brother still is (Finds a few in Wisconsin). I was always into big game and not birds. Looks like fun and an excuse to come "home" Maybe next year.

How did you guys do?

Took my first trip to SD 2 weeks ago. Pretty country. Terrible weather for our trip-ice storm followed by wind and single digits. Made hunting thick cover hard. Everyone should experience once or more.

We are enjoying a fantastic pheasant season. As many birds as I've ever seen.

I hunted there 30 days.

The guys at my house got lots of shooting and took home plenty of roosters.

Overall a super fun time!
