Score Estimates

Here’s a video of a buck I was after on a recent hunt. Got to about 70 yards from him before a doe busted me. I’m trying to get better at estimating scores (not that it really matters...I stalked smaller bucks that I would have flung an arrow at). What would you estimate him to be?

Is he in velvet still? Can’t really tell in the video and how wide do you think he’ll go also hard to tell... looks like a good buck for sure though.

Cool buck, I'd guess mid 160's but hard to tell how wide he is. I'd shoot em!

Agree, upper 150's to low 160's is what I see.

I'd put him in that low-mid 160s range as well. It's tough to tell his width and main beams in the video. If he's wider than he looks I could see him going 170. Good back forks and a good looking buck in general!
