Tikka in 6UM. Bartlein barrel, Manners EHT modified with Rokstok type geometry and bedded. Scope is a SWFA 5-20 HD in UM rings with front and rear pins. The gun previously experienced .2 mil shifts on 36" drops that were traced back to action screws that came loose after blue Loctite didn't set. No shifts since fixing that a little over a year ago. Four hunts, a couple weeks of backpacking, and one really hard drop off the pack when I accidentally yanked the release strap when loading up a deer and camp. Only a three shot group to limit how much barrel life is donated to zero checks, but no shift.

Perhaps good info....but it will be biased because few, if any will post any failures of Tikka, SWFA or Trig or NF because they don't want to be beat up by the RS gang. Let's be real. However, I hope I'm wrong. Just the hashtags by the admin's initial post says enough. Tells me where his head is.

Just to be clear, I did purchase 2 NF scopes based on Form's data. I do understand Tikka rifles good point's as noted but can't warm up to them and won't spend more money on them to make them into something better.

I do want to engage in this as I think it is helpful to everyone.

I posted a failure, approx 2” left shift Tikka/Maven/Rokstok. I’d put money it’s something in my system assembly I missed. Had another I didn’t post, found the factory rail had come loose.

He’s saying this forum is full of Tikka/SWFA owners that have consistent failures but will never admit it, because they’re just brand loyalists, not because those items tend to just work well with minimal failures.
That’s kind’ve his whole thing…
