Not sure if it's just the angle of the picture but looks like the recoil lug isn't seated all the way since the bottom of barrel isn't parallel with the forend. I know I've done this several times with my bravo. Not sure if it's a thing with the echo.

Nice looking setup! How do you like the echo?
I removed some material off the forend. Theres a little more flex then id like in the stock and the magnum taper could touch depending on how Id load into the rifle. Overall the guns shooting great in the echo and for that $300 price point its hard to beat

Just got the Peak 44 Blacktooth, 19.4 oz on my scale... Though dry fitting there is a 1/8 in gap on either side of the barrel in the taper area. I ordered the T3X Lite contour and measured the stock inlet dimensions compared to their specs and it lined up with what they had sent me. Just seems a little big.

Just means the stock is lighter and easier to fish crap out of the barrel channel if it gets in there

Higher score on the Rokslide Dead Cat Clearance index, that’s a feature not a glitch!

Cant say I'm familiar with the terms or that just flew over my head. Is there a trend with more clearance on RS now?

I don’t know if it qualifies as a consensus, but there is a large a proportion of the membership that would prefer more clearance than less. It helps prevent stock contact in less than ideal positions and also makes it easier to check for debris and clean out the debris. I think Form coined the phrase when he was talking about opening up a forend and suggested opening it up enough to make room for at least one dead cat.

Edit: found it
