Scope rings...Mid priced vs mid-high priced

I picked up a set of Leupold backcountry rings (aluminum), for my g2 Ruger American

Is there anything wrong with Warne Maxima Horizontal rings?
Other than being steel they look super solid, Made in the USA, and I haven’t had any issues with mine holding zero even after drops but I never see them mentioned.
Is that because they are pretty heavy?

warne horizontal split rings seem to work fine, i have a set in service too.

Had a set of Warnes. Heavy but solid.

I have owned and used variety of higher end rings, NF, Area 419, Badger, Grey Ops, Unknown, and Vortex(Seekins). No issues with any of them to speak of. As others have said buy once, cry once. Get good rings now, so that you don't have to buy them later.
