Scope + Bino - $2500 Budget

Hello! Just recently purchased my first riffle, well ordered anyway, thanks to all who provided feedback on that post. The rifle is a Seekings PH2 in 7mm. Now I need to make a decision on some optics. I am thinking of a $2500 budget for a decent set of binos and a scope. This will be mostly for hunting situations in the west (deer/elk/antelope). I have access to some good prices with the following and would love some feedback. Or point me in a better direction. Once again I am brand new to this and have read about a million forum posts, which can be overwhelming.

Scopes:

Zeiss - Conquest V4 ($900-$1000) & V6 ($1300-$1400)
Leica - Ampulus 6 ($1100-$1200)
Vortex - No one seems to like these but thought I would list them.

Binos: Thinking 10x42 or 10x50

Zeiss - Conquest HD 10x56 ($1150) Conquest HD 10x42 ($750)
Leica - Ultravid HD ($1750) A little out of the budget & Trinovid ($799)
Kowa - Genesis 10.5x44 ($1150)

Let me know what you think!
Thanks

BTW, the Kowa Genesis 10.5x44 is on sale at the moment for only $999.00

Scope: bushnell lrhs 2 4.5-18x44 if you want first focal plane or Trijicon credo 2.5-15x42 if you want second focal plane

Binos: maven b1.2 10x42 or the kowa 10.5x44
These options should put you around 2 grand total and I doubt you would ever want for more performance

If it’s a choice and $2500 is a hard line… Then buy top shelf binos, figure out a scope that will work for now, and then upgrade to a top shelf scope when you can. You have to spot the animal before you can shoot it. You will use binos 100 times more often than your scope. Leica or Swaro rangefinding binos. Do not buy a middle of the road scope and pair of binos unless you want to upgrade both of them later for even more $.
Everyone will have their opinion, that is mine. Cry once.

My vote is for those kowas for binos… at the price point, they are awesome. They are the only binos I feel truly hit well above their price point

OP, looking at your screen name, are you on the coast? If so, I have a set of those kowas, and may be able to meet up so you can look through them, I drive from south coast to central coast on a very regular basis, most weekends

For sure buy from cameraland, they are awesome to deal with and have great prices

The kowa genesis and swfa 3-15 would be a pretty solid setup and in budget

May be able to find a 2.5-10x NF NXS and still stay in budget,

Get the Kowa Binos dude. They're glass is phenomenal at that price point. Get a tripod and panhead with the money you save.

For a scope. Trijicon Ten Mile 3-18. The zeiss V4 is also a good scope.
Steer clear of the Amplus 6. No zero stop is the worst decision they could have made.

Zeiss V6 ( just bought one myself) and Kowa 10x42 or Vortex Razor 10x42. The Razors are damn nice regardless of what you may read. I have used them and Viper HD's for years in the west.

Tract Toric 10x42 UHD Binoculars Tract sells direct to consumers, but you can find them on Amazon as well.
Leupold VX-5HD 3-15x44 Firedot Scope
Leupold Backcountry Rings

Scope: NF SHV or Trijicon Credo/TenMile
Binoculars: Kowa Genesis

Put the remaining money to a tripod and head.

If you can bump up your budget a bit, you can get a demo NF NXS or NX8.

10x binos are kinda shaky. make sure you can handle them well. I would suggest 8.5x42 el if you cannot.

Not saying to buy them, but the Vortex hate here is a bit over the top. And hardly warranted to the level seen. The rockslide answer to your question is “save up until you can afford Swaro”. Not a bad idea but a little over the top in a lot of cases.

I’d also highly consider the kowa binos but I’d add the Nightforce SHV line for a scope.
