Every barrel will be different. You will have to shoot them your self to find out.

From what I've read and understand though, weather people love them or hate them, Savages seem to be very accurate off the shelf rifles with most ammo.

Go shoot them and let us know.

I took a bull about 3 years ago with a 150gr ELD-X shot from a Savage XP Hunter in a carbine-length barrel. Which means absolutely nothing - one data point is just one data point. 271 more and you have yourself a statistic, or you could just use it as an excuse to go buy one and see!

I have a 110 Storm, 22" and it absolutely hates the 150 ELD-X in the most vial way. I can get excellent groups from just about any other bullet I try but no matter how many of the 150 ELD-X I have shot... and like a fool I bought 100 of them, they are terrible in my rifle... pushing over 1.5 inch groups! I did fire three groups of five shots one day without cleaning just cooling down. By the third group they got as tight as .6 but that was a dirty, filthy barrel. The Hornady brass is too thick for my action as well, close hard, scratch and extract hard. No other brand is an issue.

Winchester 140 Power Points, Norma 150 SP, 140 ABs, Barnes 120 and 150 TTSX and 145 LRX are all very good to excellent and most often sub half-inch. The 150 TTSX loaded by Copper Creek are hole-on hole if I do my part. Measurements on the pics are center-to-center.

I got the lightweight storm in left hand. It was windy the day I shot mine but it seemed to like the 150 ELD-X better than the 139 SST I'm gonna try American Whitetail too. I'm probably gonna cut a few inches off the barrel before adding my suppressor then I'm gonna dial it I'll post a pic.

139 SST factory loads. Can't wait to try Barnes LRX 139s. Was gonna mess with this gun more but got a 22 Creedmoor an been occupied lol. Ol girl wants to go for a walk through the woods for sure lol
