Sauer 100 Experiences?

Is the actual weight comparable to a T3X? Anyone know about barrel replacements?
You could best get an answer to that question by calling Blaser customer service phone number. They are in Texas. I called them for help getting a replacement plastic beauty butt cover replaced. They picked up the call immediately and 3 days later I got my replacement part by UPS at no charge. I was impressed with their attitude and I was totally at fault with the breakage after totally dropping the rifle.

@EuroOptic Jake,

There’s a couple of questions on these nice Sauer 100s.

1. Do you sell a stainless steel model, or will a stainless model be available from Eurooptic this year? The understanding is the US Ceratech, Pantera, and HS Precision models are not coated stainless. And the Stainless XTA seems to be the stainless offering and not for sale in USA.

2. Can you provide an on scale confirmation of weight for a popular Rokslide caliber. Short barrel 6mm (.243) or 6.5.

That would be really helpful. Thanks!

Anyone with the sauer 100 classic xt 6.5cm with the 1/8.7 twist have any recommendations for rounds it likes? I have a buddy getting one and I’m hoping I can get him started right pretty quick I have ton of 6.5 cm ammo in different variety and want to give him a few boxes hopefully the rifle will like one of them

I can pick up a ceratech locally for $475 out the door and I’m feeling weaker every time I walk by it.
Maybe I’ll break and snag it up.
I had ideas of
-135 classic hunter Berger
-120 ballistic tip
-129 sst

Sorry didn’t answer your question but I already had same thoughts running through my mind

I’m sure someone has one and will chime in

No worries I had a 1/9 savage that favored the lighter stuff, so I was thinking the same thing, I have a lot more of the heavies since all mine are 1/8 twisted I think those are where I will start with him unless anyone else chimes in

For sure, I’m in the same boat. have mostly heavies since mine is 1/8.

Maybe @longrangelead ? Thought he had the 6.5cm he pulled the barrel from in a thread to prove it could be done.

The Sauer 100 has caught my eye for my next rifle. seems like it comes with a lot of features for the price point. everything i've read online seems to be good, but curious if any has any first hand experience. thanks
I have a Sauer Fieldshoot in 6.5 Creedmoor and one in 6.5 PRC. I am sure load development might indicate a premium accuracy load but these rifles shoot well with factory ammo. I just returned from Barbour Creek Shooting School with the Creedmoor. The accuracy limitation is the guy on the trigger. The PRC is a shooter as well.

Is it twisted with the 1/8.7? If so did it favor a certain grain of bullet? I am helping a good buddy upgrade from a 40 year old savage 308. He is on a budget so I was thrilled to find a sauer for 399 @EuroOptic unbelievable deal!

mine shoots the 130 ELDM REALLY well. Hornady brass and 43.0 H4350 .025" inside mag length just shoots. 2840/21" barrel

Sauer’s web site lists the twists and turns on all their rifles, but I don’t remember if it1:8 or 1:9. Super smooth action great accuracy with box ammo and pride of ownership for small money. Now if they would just thread all their barrels
