I think if we look at the intent of the second we can come to a close consensus on how arms are defined. Since the 2nd was designed to match a militia against a militia you would want to make sure that they are as equally matched as possible. Being that most armies or militias use some type of semi auto or full auto rifle that should be what is defined as arms (to me). You wouldn't want your militia with slingshots to have to face off with a militia that has M4s. Because of that I think that all law abiding citizens should be allowed to own a full auto the same as the government.Actually, defining "arms" is the most important. Nobody cares if your ability to shoot a slingshot off your porch is infringed. Determining how "arms" is defined will lead to how people feel about whether their rights have in fact, already been "infringed."
