S&W bodyguard 2.0

2500 rounds with mine, I typically shoot at 15 yards, gun is great - I align my front sight near right rear sight because I suck like most folks, even supposed experienced shooters with micros.

100 rounds of the Winchester FMJ with no issues.
Definitely shoot the 12 round mag better than the 10.

Long shot, but if anyone would be interested in trading a factory 12 round mag for my factory 10 round mag, let me know. Thanks.

Bought one today. Did NOTHING to it. Drove directly to my place. Loaded 9rd of Remington FMJ and 10 rounds of ReMJHP. Total JAMOMATIC. This thing is worse than my Ruger LCP2. The FMJ failed to eject causing a stove pipe 4 times. Basically every other round. The JHP failed to seat in the chamber 3 times and locked up the slide to the point I could not pull it back. Had to lay the lip of the slide on a wood table and push down with a live round to get it to slide back far enough. Then needed to use a screwdriver and forcefully remove the live round. Not happy with this one at all It is now in pieces on my work bench while I decide what to do with it.

I have 2 more brands of ammo I will try this week. Then will go back to S&W. The two piece slide ramp is a strange decision.

Had high hopes for this as it fits the pocket great. I now have zero trust. I may just be forced to carry a P365x or buy a G42.

Used the same ammo in the LCP2. Only 1 failure to eject with the FMJ

If you have two separate guns having failures with a particular type of ammo. I’d look at the ammo first… have not tried that Remington fmj yet, but mine has eaten everything I’ve thrown at it.

Edit: On the rounds that failed to seat in the chamber, are you using the slide release to chamber a round after installing the mag? I have found you must pull back the slide and let it drive home after installing a mag, that’s how I was trained, but did notice that it will fail to seat many times if you happen to use the slide release.

All rounds that failed to feed were while firing.

Update. Pulled it apart, cleaned and reassembled the slide. Oiled up profusely then let it sit with slide locked back on bench all week. Periodically, released slide and relocked. Shot it today with 2 different manufacturers ammo. Gold dot 90jhp and Fiochoci 90jhp. Only 1 failure to feed with the GD. Will let it sit on bench for another week locked back. Then hit it hard next weekend after I pick up more ammo. Want to run at least 200 rounds through before I put it int the pocket for carry.

Ran 17 round between 2 mags. Burned up the box if Fiochi. 10 round had 1 failure to feed and that was after the first shot, removed live round with screwdriver and then finished off the mag with no issues. Then ran 7 out of the 12 rd mag. No issues. Then ran the single that I pulled that jammed. No issue. I am thinking the mags springs are stiff and causing the problem. Then again when I drop the mag and try to let the slide load the jammed round it is at an awkward angle and does not full enter the barrel. Will keep it locked back and mags full for a few days.

I’d send it back. Something is wrong.

I’ll blow through 100 rds this weekend. If I have any FF’s it will

Feel like my left to right is good. Had to do some adjusting but I feel it’s there now.
The two groups under the dot were a 6 o’clock hold. POI is right behind the front site.

I believe the vertical stringing is from my lack of skill with a pistol.

Groups were shot at 10 yards supported by a sandbag on top of a tripod with the same Winchester 95 FMJ.
140 rounds total with this ammo and no issues.

That’s a dead bad guy

Shot 2 full mags today all Rem 95jhp. Not a single FF. Both shot well. Going to keep it up until I burn through all the ammo I have.

Shot 6 full mags today
22 rd REM JHP. No FF ran flawless.
44 rd Speer JHP Gold dot No FF ran flawless
Decided to use last 4 of the Rem and see if the Tula aluminum case someone gave me will run. nope first four of the Tula failed to chamber. Pushed them out to the last 4 of the REM JHP and it ran fine. No FF.

I believe this needed to be cleaned and lubed. I recall the kid at the counter removing the slide and reassembling. My assumption is he did NOT set the barrel or guide rod in properly. Gaining some trust back with it as a carry option. I’ll burn another 100 rds this weekend.
