I've had my eye on a roto-molded cooler for awhile, but just could not justify the price of a Yeti, Pelican, etc. I would have pulled the trigger on an RTIC if they could commit to a delivery date.

Finally found a good deal on this knock-off brand at Fisherman's Marine called Calcutta Coolers and picked one up today. Currently on sale I got a 50L for $200.

Looks good enough for me, and will be a big upgrade from the igloo I was using.

Just a heads up, Calcutta's are not knock offs, they have been around for quite awhile and work just as good as any other.

That makes it an even better deal! I'm pretty happy with it so far. I have just used it one weekend and then put it in my garage when I got home, but it is still holding quite a bit of ice after 4 days.

I'm really tempted to pick up the 80L as well for $270.

Older thread but interested how these things have been working for you guys since then. My buddy has an RTIC that seems like every other rotomolded cooler. Trying to choose a direction to go.

I have the 65 and seems hurt like the yeti. It held ice all weekend elk hunting then made it to the next Friday before it was gone with being opened 1-2 times a day and that was with only 3 bags of ice, I'm sure if it was all ice it would have gone longer but I just used it for water and Gatorade during the work week.

I just ordered a couple tumblers for gifts. Hope I get them. I hadn't seen this thread at the time.

I have the RTIC 65 and absolutely love it. I ordered it after last years hunting season so the delay in shipping at the time was not an issue at all. I've used it extensively over the last 6 months and don't have a single complaint - except that I wish it was bigger. The reason I jumped on the Atlas group buy was to get the bigger cooler but we all know how that went... I did contact RTIC to see if they had plans for a 100+ qt cooler and they said beginning in Jan they will offer one although I didn't find out what the price would be. If I ever get my money back from the Atlas group buy I'll be redirecting those funds to the bigger RTIC cooler...

I contacted RTIC too about bigger sizes and planned to order the 110q in January when they are available.
