RokStok

Looks great! I might have to copy that combination. How worried are you about the unpainted areas? Does it wear any different? I’ve got zero prior experience with these stocks.

No worries, the unpainted areas are the same finish as any ‘bare carbon’ stock, the epoxy resin stuff that saturates the carbon fiber, pretty tough stuff.

What is the part number for the limbsaver airtech pad that fits a rokstok? Found it in the rokstok review thread 10809. Not exact fit but will work with few mods.

What are the mods you have to make? I read something about drilling new holes, I assume you drill the pad and not the stock? I put my Tikka Limbsaver on my RS last night, the fit is bad but the holes lined up fine.

Grind off a lip and drill new holes on the pad.

Is this a wood one?
It’s a carbon cerakote where they mixed H-148 Burnt Bronze with a touch of H-128 Hunter Orange. My favorite of my Carbon stocks for color scheme.

In saying that, Jeep released a new paint color for 2025 called ‘41 which is a throw back to the original army Jeep colors in WW2. It’s an OD green with some flat dark earth mixed in and is my favorite color outside of obviously orange.

Next Rokstok paint color will be Jeep ‘41 with some orange worked in somehow 😎

Hanging around on RokSlide is an expensive habit. I ordered a wooden RokStok lite for my RSS .223 last night. My credit card company tried to save me by flagging it as a fraudulent transaction, but I was able to overcome the initial denial and any second thoughts and resubmit the order. So, that means that sometime in the future I will have a RSS in 6.5 CM and a mini-RSS in .223, both stainless steel, with wooden RokStoks, 6x SWFA scopes, PR Precision Stainless Steel bottom metal, and suppressors to be named later.
