Try a spacer washer under the bottom metal/plastic, if it sits well, then go with that, if not, then take a file to the screw.
I filed the screw down, easy fix, the bolt no longer binds. Thanks!

To contribute to the LOP comments, I’m 6’ 5” and both 2 or 3 spacers work fine with med. rings/base.

After finally getting to shoot the stock, it really does make a difference spotting shots with 300 wsm.

If you’re tightening to 65in lbs try 60 or 55. I had that happen to me. The back screw is touching your bolt. Mine stopped at 55 if I remember right.
This was the issue, filed it down and g2g. I think I was so concerned about the early lug issues I ignored the rear screw all together. Thanks!

It looks like it’s the rear action screw protruding slightly, which is strange since it was fine before. Torqued to 65 in/lbs.

I was so focused on the lug and front action screw and didn’t think to check the rear screw itself.

I’ve never had this issue before, should I use a spacer/washer on the stock bottom metal or shorten the screw by a .5 or 1 thread?
Spacers and less torque and you’ll be good to go.

So what is the weight of a rokstok with sendero inlet and plain non scalloped foreend when you have 2 spacers installed?

I was wanting one thinking that it would fit me perfectly with no spacers and weight would be close to 26-28oz.... But that possibility seems to be disappearing.

Yes. The way the stock is designed, longer LOP is less of an issue than in other stocks. Quite the opposite- almost everyone is better suited to .5” to 1” longer LOP than normal.
I’m 6’ and am accustomed to using a slightly shorter LOP to accommodate layers and/or less than ideal body positions.

Im giving the longer 14” LOP a try, given that was a desirable attribute in the Rokstok design. I like the extra leverage holding offhand, but how do you recommend setting eye relief? Especially to accommodate forgiveness with layers and positioning. Do you set eye relief so you’re at near max neck extension for consistency? It feels as if I have to set a 6x42 pretty far back in the rings if that’s not the case.

If it makes a difference, I rarely shoot on my belly. 95% standing/kneeling/sitting.
