This was the issue, filed it down and g2g. I think I was so concerned about the early lug issues I ignored the rear screw all together. Thanks! If you’re tightening to 65in lbs try 60 or 55. I had that happen to me. The back screw is touching your bolt. Mine stopped at 55 if I remember right.
Spacers and less torque and you’ll be good to go.It looks like it’s the rear action screw protruding slightly, which is strange since it was fine before. Torqued to 65 in/lbs.
I was so focused on the lug and front action screw and didn’t think to check the rear screw itself.
I’ve never had this issue before, should I use a spacer/washer on the stock bottom metal or shorten the screw by a .5 or 1 thread?
I’m 6’ and am accustomed to using a slightly shorter LOP to accommodate layers and/or less than ideal body positions.Yes. The way the stock is designed, longer LOP is less of an issue than in other stocks. Quite the opposite- almost everyone is better suited to .5” to 1” longer LOP than normal.
Do you set eye relief so you’re at near max neck extension for consistency? It feels as if I have to set a 6x42 pretty far back in the rings if that’s not the case.
If it makes a difference, I rarely shoot on my belly. 95% standing/kneeling/sitting.

Sometime between mid-Feb and early March IIRC.When are these going to be for sale again?
of 2026Sometime between mid-Feb and early March IIRC.
At this rate I’ll find 8208 on clearance and have a stack of tmk’s and SWFA 3-9 and 6x’s before orders open up on a rock stockof 2026
I don't think it's very far away at all. I believe they are opening up 100 for sale at a time starting within the next 30 days.At this rate I’ll find 8208 on clearance before orders open up on a rock stock

Better than you'd think from looking at it.I've never heard anyone talk about the recoil pad.. good, bad?
No weird "shoulder shape" in it, not overly soft and squishy, not overly hard. Very shootable. There are some instances with the rubber peeling off the plastic, can be glued back on easily.I've never heard anyone talk about the recoil pad.. good, bad?
