RokStok

Thats Tanyas bro. I hope she doesnt ban you for doggin her rifle.
We were talking about this yesterday. When hunting season rolled around in the early days of RS, it was just Tanya running the show. I’d come back from hunting, Tanya would tell me I banned nine people, I'd ask why, and she just said 'cause they ******* pissed me off…. OK. 😂

FIRST OF ALL, I’ve only banned like 5 people. I warned quite of few more, but they 100% deserved it. SECOND OF ALL, I KNOW you all aren’t dissing on the HAND OF GOD. How many of your guns killed a giraffe in 1 shot? Or a Sable in 1 shot? That’s what I thought. . I said what I said

It’s part of it. I use Kwik because it breaks free at 300 rather than 500 for most longer work time epoxies. I also glue in the action screws. The point is to try to survive shock, not unnatural temperature.

I think that’s the right answer, and something that would benefit everyone. It’s a good service to offer as long as the customer isn’t constantly switching stocks.

It's been one year since I received my first Rokstok.

It has been on 3 different rifles, 5 different barrels, and now has a permanent home bedded to this Tikka 223 action.

I'm not overly or purposely "mean" to my guns but they definitely get used. @NSI did mention that my backseat full of gear/guns/ammo all piled on each other was an absolute shit show haha.

This stock has just over 11,000 rounds on it between the different guns and it hasn't missed a beat. Zero issues with the carbon structure, inletting, or the Spartan Pic rail/scalloped fore-end.

The cerakote scratches as expected, and normal wear spots on fore-end, butt stock, and bolt cutout are down to bare carbon in spots. This doesn't cause any issues whatsoever in shooting and hunting and overall I think it's held up well. Examples here...

It's also still doing this nearly every day, 77 TMKs sure do slap canal road bunnies...

If you had concerns with longevity or heavy field use I would honestly put those to bed and order these for all your guns. There hasn't been a single shooter in multiple dozen users over the last year that didn't love shooting this stock.
Which rail attachment is this one again?

That’s the original Spartan Pic rail they offer from the factory.

If I was to do it all over again, I’d probably just go rail-less and add the Spartan gunsmith adapter myself to the stock. I don’t use bipods really other than the long Spartan for seated and kneeling shots.

February order arrived!
Very happy with the initial overall fit.. just feels more natural to shoulder than other traditional stocks. I installed on one of my other scoped tikkas with low rings, and I think mediums will be better for me. Just ordered a set. Looking forward to putting in some range time with this baby!

1 color sponge? Looks clean!

Are you asking about the texture in the two grip areas? Its well done and you definitely feel it. The exposed carbon on the rest of the stock is smooth/shiny. The cerakoted areas are more of a matte finish.
