We've looked at the 695 and it does look like it'll fit in the VG. Will have to look at the Rokstok and see if it fits in there as well. Let me get these Winchester 70s and rokstoks continuously going and then we'll do the 695.
YES!!! So you have what you need to figure out the VG inlet situation when you have time (completely understandable :) ) and don't need an action sent in is what I'm hearing? Thank you for looking into it!

No we’ll need the barreled action to do the inletting but another rokslider compared them for me and it looked like it would work.

An FYI for those concerned about spacers or pad thickness.
For grins, I put on a regular T3 limbsaver for reference.

And it took 10 minutes to cut a spacer out of an old thinsulate pad......you could literally use anything. Only issue would be screw length depending on your spacer thickness.

Mentioned many times. Design fail.
I think the one that has been mentioned many times before was the mountaineer. Which looks to be a bit different than this "mountaineer LR" version. No drop at the heel and quite a bit flatter toe line. Though I'm not quite as good as some at eyeballing pics, this one looks quite a bit closer in design.

Things to eyeball then: heel, toe, grip shape, grip angle, grip to trigger length, fore-end shape.
