Rokstok Lite

Trinity rail
Thanks. In my mind (since I had never seen one on a gun) the Spartan portion stuck out away from the rest of the rail. Nice to see one in the wild. The one on unknown munitions doesn’t look like this one at all. Hence leading to my confusion.

So where do you order the one that you have on this rifle? Rather than the one on unknown munitions site?

The Trinity Rail and the Rokstok Trinity Rail are different item on the webpage, if I recall.

A) I have the 3B, and it's fine.
B) I have the Trinity rail on one and nothing on the other one. When I purchase the RS Lite, I will have the full-length Arca installed. The Trinity does not get in the way.
D) Neoprene.
E) I use QD cups. I add one to the Right side of the buttstock in addition to the Left side.
I believe QD cups should replace traditional sling studs.

The traditional studs just get in the way.

they make an iny and an outy. not sure the differentiation on their site.

Is the original Rokstok better in any way than the Lite, other than increased weight leading to reduced recoil? Geometry-wise is anything sacrificed with the Lite?

I can’t say that, yet. But when I get a chance to compare them, I will let you know.

It does reduce muzzle rise better to an extent. That is somewhat offset by the lower CG of the forend. But, in rifles that recoil more than 6.5cm/308 or so- the original RS does control them better. Both due to design and weight.

With all of that, the RS lite is still better than any other design out there in the same weight range. For my personal uses- short, suppressed, modest recoiling rounds; I generally prefer the RS lite.
