I can darken about any wood unless it's black.

yes, I try to make it from the same piece.
some times I mix and match to get both sides to look fairly symmetrical.

84M is the action length. Hunters came in both 84M (short) and 84L (long).

I guess I meant Montana vs. Hunter. I have an 84M Montana. I know the trigger guards are different. Not sure about bolts for stock. Guessing they are same and one stock inlet will fit all short actions.

Same same just need trigger guard and internal box to go from hunter to Montana.

An 84M in 6 or 6.5 CM, with a RS Lite and proper scope, might make a nice lightweight mountain rifle.

A lot of people don’t know this, but wood also doesn’t move/expand/contract as much as plastic does in response to changes in temperature. I say this as a musician whose plastic instruments change in pitch much more that the wood versions with identical dimensions when stepping into the sun.

I’d have no worries about using one here in Alaska.
I’d also bet a lot more people here would opt for the wood version if it wasn’t 3x the price of a carbon Rokstok.

Looks great. I kinda was hoping that the suppressor y’all were working on was an UL, ultrashort .224 or 6mm suppressor. Something optimized for 22CM and 6UM. I can’t see myself buying a heavier suppressor than what I’ve got now.

Yes, but at sub $2,000 it’s 50-100% less than expected for a wood stock.

How are those 7-8oz Ti cans working so far for people…. And, something optimized for a 6UM is larger, not smaller than something for a 6 or 6.5cm, 308, etc. As for length- it’s 4” in front of the muzzle- there isn’t a true hearing safe 4” can on the market.

This can isn’t going to please everyone- it was never meant to. It is being made with specific set of requirements that fit what is needed or lacking for most hunters.
