Schafer would be a good spot plus it's not likely to really be anyones honey hole spot. It should melt out a little earlier since it is quite a distance from the crest .

Man and here I thought we were a pretty hardcore group... :p haha

I'm down with Schaefer! And as far as refreshments go, if it ain't at least 80 proof it ain't going. ;)

I'll let my dog pack a few beers though. ;)

Schafer sounds cool, but reading about it on line, it sounds like we will have to fjord the river, and sometimes it is an issue. What do you guys know about that?

We could do it as a team building experience... couple downed trees and 20' of p-chord and we have to overcome the river... lol

In all honesty there's a downed tree we can cross ;)

Sweet, sounds like a perfect opportunity to fall in the river. I'm sure one of us will.....maybe with help.

The weekend of the 20th sounds pretty solid for everyone. I vote that as the official date.

I should be good with that. Schaefer isn't a walk in the park hike though either, it's not extreme but it is consistently uphill pretty much the whole way.

I would probably go in friday afternoon and stay till sunday likely... I say we plan for saturday/sunday trip and those who can make it on friday as well do so. Besides, I don't want anybody making fun of my slow hiking! ;)
