One upside is Rogan has enough money to hunt really good places and not to get caught poaching like the other influencers 🧐

Not spending that on a drink but I like cam and rogan.
Rogan is a voice that benefits all us,maybe you don’t agree with everything he says or does but hes still a positive.
Someone of his stature and wealth says a lot of positives when it comes to hinting, guns, meat, health, fitness, laughter and or freedom.
I would like to know what exact benefits to the hunting world have come out from all the publicity he has brought to it? I think he is an important figure to the world as far as speaking out about freedoms and calling bull shit on a lot of things that he understands. But he en he talks about hunting you can just tell he does not know what he’s talking about. I remember one conversation when he was saying it was ridiculous how people felt others should not hunt their “spot” he just speaks like a guy who has never experienced what it is really like off a private ranch that’s not in a world class hunting spot. I do not see any positives he has brought to hunting specifically. Cam just seems like an ego maniac that found a way to make money off of it.

^They may say some goofy shit or do something one of us wouldn’t but come on,hes pro gun,pro hunting etc.In all seriousness what have you done to promote pro gun,pro hunting, anything ever?
If I sent you on a 20000 guided elk hunt you wouldn’t go?Bullshit
As far as I know cam worked a normal job and from my understanding was a stellar employee, who still got up and runs 10 miles or did it on lunch.
He waskilling shit way before most of us.
Maybe you’re not into fitness, maybe you don’t understand what it takes.
I’m far from those guys but I’m in better shape than most around me and pushing 50.
I hear shit weekly,I mean weekly from some body.
I do think think a lot of this comes down to jealousy, envy etc.
I think about having my own business daily,I think if i could do something in fitness or hunting, even enough to get me in the shot show much less make some money. How awesome would that be.

The issue I think many have with them is they are trying to appeal to the average guy, yet hunt these private ranches. The optics is just plain bad. And specifically on Haines, the whole "I am fine if my destiny is to get mauled to death by a wounded grizzly because I don't carry a firearm" is just totally stupid. Especially because it would endanger his guide and photographer. That whole thing was just really a terrible look.

I believe there are a lot of people who have done way more than those 2 to promote hunting. Both "famous" and regular people. you can start with the volunteer network of RMEF, PF, DU, NWTF, MDS, RMBS, etc.

I haven’t done anything to promote hunting. I have done things to HELP hunting in the way of voting with my wallet and try to stay current on things that I feel are harmful to it and its future. I have an 8 year old son who loves the outdoors and I want him to be able to share it with his kids. I am into fitness as well, I run on my lunches, I get up early to workout, I help coach sports teams and I feel me being him shape and working hard is a way of leading by example for the kids. I think you missed the point though, this isn’t about me nor was anyone saying how great I am for hunting. What have they done to help it? Is their less of an attack on our rights as hunters? Did they open a grizzly hunt I haven’t heard about? How about cougar hunting?

Ps cam works for Springfield utility board as a water department manager in Eugene and let’s just say it’s not the worlds most demanding job

If Form released "Elk Blood", all you guys would be posting multiple times a day arguing about what color the can should be and when the preorders go live.
Doubt it, I think he would get dragged if he did some dumb stuff. Only reason he doesn’t is because he puts out info that is backed by research and science / least the scientific method. Oh he also isn’t interested in taking shirtless pictures or people seeing his face…

Why does cam have to run so much? Do they park the SxS really far away so he has move more, so it’s “harder” one might even say it requires a “beast mode” level of physical fitness?

I will say that the whole country is so far removed from hunting and the simple facts of it all that just him saying “animals need controlled and hunters fund it and do it better than if we used tax money for animal control. And hunters are required to take all meat” is honestly a major revelation for most Americans.

I won’t get into the whole is Joe bad or good for hunting, we can argue either way in circles for months. I’ve now listened to his show for a decade. It’s clear that Joe simply doesn’t know any better and these guys he has on who are his mentors clearly have not informed him and refuse to check him. Joe has never dealt with the regular hunter and why/when would he? So I’m much more mad at people who know better like Cam laughing when Joe says “find another trailhead, stupid” or as you mentioned when Joe was going on about “my spots” and he wasn’t corrected or had it explained. I had optimism that Sneider would go in and set some stuff straight last year but he just spent two hours trying to prove how much he knew about MMA. So what I see in Joe is someone who only knows one way and the bootlicker instafamous people are too pussy to check him on it or inform him. That’s what angers me most.

a large majority of his listening community are not hunters and most likely will never hunt. So they wont even understand how what he says is contradictory or annoying. But when legislative support is needed and they see it, they may be on our side just because they like Joe Rogan and he supports it.

Or he does something stupid and it gets spread all over the internet and paints a bad image......
