To add to this, Steiner T6Xi 3-18x56 with MSR2 reticle. I've heard very good things about its eyebox and low light performance. But who knows whether its reticle is too thin for hunting or if it'll retain zero. If it did retain zero well I'd be all over one for hunting.

That's helpful, thank you. Did you find its eyebox and low light performance to be what everyone says they are? After moving from a Vortex G3 6-36 to a NF ATACR 7-35 on my hunting gun the main thing I miss is the Vortex's freakish eyebox.
Yeah optically it’s very good. Excellent eye box and low light performance. The MSR2 reticle is very thin in this model, I think it is more optimized for the 5-30x or 5-25x range vs lower mag scopes, and it was my opinion that it was way too thin for general hunting use. And it’s a big scope, maybe not as big as the ones you’re using, but big and heavy nonetheless.

Hawke frontier 30 ffp 4-20. 22oz decent turrets, zero stop, reasonably thick reticle and illuminated. Glass is pretty good. I've had one for 3.5 years it's held zero, I haven't dropped it tho!
