Ryan has uninterrupted video of the NF holding zero through the 36” drops as well as the Maven losing zero from each 18” drop, and the Trijicon holding zero through the entire drop eval in the exact same rings that were never removed from the rifle. I’m happy to do the same for the Vortex when it comes back.
I’m hoping that Trijicon Tenmile proves durable for the 3,000 round evaluation.

Being that the Credo HX is SFP (different erector), will you also put it through the 3,000 round Eval IF it survives the drop Eval?

I will if we have the ammunition. Getting people that want to shoot a SFP scope is another problem entirely….

Either a level on the rail and turret, a level on the rifle, a plum line and the reticle being aligned with it, or by eye. I can consistently align a reticle with the rifle to within the accuracy of commercial levels.

However, leveling has nothing to do with zero retention, and only if really out of plum with the rifle anything that will effect a 7’ish Mil “tracking test”. When I do the adjustment check, the target dots are level to the earth and the reticle is level to the target.

Yet the 2-10x36 Credo Is FFP. While the the 2.5-10x56 and 2.5-15x42 are SFP. Their lineup is, different.

I hope you are able to and will do that. That way if (or when) it fails again maybe it will wake them up.
My money is on them not waking up… one more data set will not erase delusion. Outside of Form’s test, there is plenty of data of vortex scopes dying from much less than Form puts them through

I would like to see the top reticles (in ffp) for general hunting use. Whatever scope they come housed in.

Preferably something not SWFA (due to their seemingly never-ending backorder)

What does Tract say about testing like this, and the value it might bring?
I seem to recall they had an early low end model that did not do well. Not one of their current models. No idea if they have changed internals. But on the good side, I believe they asked for it to be tested.

I don’t need a Tract tested, just sharing what I recalled. Though I have a Toric HD and it’s worked well, though never stressed tested. What did you hear?
