Ok ok seems from the Talley in my head the 2.5-15x42 Credo is one of the most requested.
We gotta get it tested. Its the only smaller framed mid sized scope @Formidilosus doesn't have data on, he has already testified the shv and nxs are solid. Not every rifle needs a big heavy 30oz 50mm scope. I don't care to much about weight but a lighter 2fp 15x scope is what I'm looking for the wife.
I put i 3-15 nxs on for her and had her shoot a 10x she was fine to 500 but any further and she wanted the 15x
@Ryan Avery do we need to make enough donations to cover the entire scope?
If I buy one and reason to Expect trijicon wouldn't cover me if it breaks so I have something to salvage?
This past month I've been shooting almost exclusively with a SWFA 6x (on .223) and Credo 2-10x36 (6.5CM).

Admittedly, I was a skeptic of those (cough, ahem, Form) who were preaching the virtues of fixed 6x or 3-9x for medium/medium long range shooting.

I've now been converted. I've had no issues shooting the .223 out to 565 yards with the 6x; and I find myself bouncing between 6x-8x out to 965 yards with the CM. More than 8X, I tend to not see my shot impacts in the scope.

I'm hoping the Trijicon line proves reliable and durable as aiming devices. (The glass seems pretty good too)

Well if they could get some in stock.
Id really like to see a fixed 4x and hd sized turrets across the board.
I don't worry about them spinning. Just getting caught up on things.

Agreed. This weekend, I mounted my 5-20 SWFA for the first time in a couple of years to test a new 223. Did zero and grouping at about 14-16 power and dropped it down to 8-12 for steel out to 630 yards for the same reasons. If the gun didn't weight 12 lbs, I would have been shooting at even lower power.

Another vote for the credo 2.5-15x, I just got one a few weeks ago that I wouldn’t be opposed to possibly offering up as a test subject.

As an FYI...Trijicon responded to me this am:

1. They have very tight (e.g. less than 0.5 degree) specifications for reticle cant
2. Credo and Tenmile scopes are the same glass

Did they offer any insight into the commonality of the internals? Be nice to know if the SFP designs share a general design and the FFP share a design. Also, 30mm vs. 1” tube. There will be differences in dimensions of course, thinking generally. How the inner tubes are held in place.

Didn't ask those questions...

Has Trijicon done anything about the reportedly abyssal customer service for consumer products?

I haven't had to warranty anything (so far)...the one or two customer service inquiries I've made were responded to very quickly.

You sure as shit better be the original purchaser and have proof.

Our friend Doug at CLNY is probably too professional to say much, however there’s probably a good reason why he’s a dealer but doesn’t sell them.

You can always buy Vortex...they have a great warranty ;)
I'm good.
But I still think Trijicon sells there brand as tough as nails, military spec, super warranty blah blah.

I could see requiring registration. And it should be in big bold letters in the packaging etc
But to think guys will keep proof of purchase.

Man id have to have an Amazon warehouse to keep the proof of purchase on everything I've bought in my life.

I think the proof of purchase thing is a cheap cop out.
Ether you back your products or don't. But don't sell me on a warranty then loop hole the shit out of it.

I can only speak to the RMR and RMR Type 2 red dots for warranty, however lots of us have had to send them in for warrenty over the years and I have never had to have a receipt or been given any hassle.
