Returning Hunter Caliber Choice

Try practicing, if not also hunting, with the managed recoil loads. Rem, hornady, and others all make them. They make a BIG difference in recoil, and at normal hunting ranges they kill critters just fine.

I have 2 lite-contour tikka barrels threaded. One is 1/2-28 with an adaptor to 5/8-24. The other is directly threaded at 5/8-24 with a flared collar screwed on to achieve the diameter needed to support the suppressor.

Ammunition cost and enjoyment.

You can buy decent .223 ammo for 60¢ per round. You will spend at least twice that for something like 6.5CM.

It's cheaper and more fun to shoot so you will be more likely to do it more often.
Makes a lot of sense in the long term. Looks like guys on here are doing great killing deer with them too. Thanks for the insight, I’m a south paw but looks like there is a pre-order on UM for them so I signed up for that.
