real weight of Kimber Hunter?

I think this thread is focused on Kimbers - As far as I know Tikka hasn't stepped into the 6.5 CM but they've done the .260 Rem in a few models, just not the superlight ...... yet I hope

Meant to say basically I've been looking at these and tikkas and leaning towards a 6.5 etc etc.

The Kimber 6.5 barrels are 1:8 twist.

And the actions/barrels are identical to the 84s. The only difference in them is the stock and the barrels on the Hunter aren't threaded.

My Hunter in 6.5 with a Zeiss HD5 weighs 6.9lbs. Its a shooter. it didnt like the factory Hornady Ammo, but it likes hand loads. It shoots 129 Accubond LRs sub MOA out to 750 yards @ 2770 fps. I though about bedding it, but I dont want to mess with a good thing.

Are the feed lips on the mags themselves? Thought I read this in the last couple days. If so I really never like to put all of the responsibility on a magazine.
Please give us a range report when you can, snow just flew last night, probably have 6+" here on Flathead lake.
